Taraazu is a shop billing and stock app for small shops. In short: your shop's data stays on your phone, and, if you turn on backup, in your own Google Drive. We do not receive it.

The information the app keeps

When you use Taraazu you may enter:

• Shop details: shop name, owner name, phone, email, address, GST/registration number.
• Business records: products, prices, stock, sales, purchases, quotes, expenses, returns, day-close totals.
• Customer and supplier details that you add: names, phone numbers, addresses, credit (udhaar) balances and payments.
• Product photos that you take or choose.
• App settings: language, currency, theme, backup choices.

Where it is stored

• On your phone. All of this is stored in the app's private storage on your device. Taraazu works without the internet.
• In your own Google Drive, if you turn on Google Drive backup. Taraazu then saves a copy of your data in a hidden app folder in your Google account. It uses the drive.appdata permission, which lets Taraazu see only its own backup files, not your other Drive files. The copy goes directly from your phone to Google. It is never sent to us.
• Backup files you save or share yourself, for example to WhatsApp or the Files app, go wherever you send them.

What we collect

Nothing. Taraazu has no server and no user accounts. It contains no ads, no analytics and no tracking. We cannot see your shop's data, your customers' details or your Google Drive.

Google sign-in

If you turn on Google Drive backup, you sign in with your Google account through Google's own sign-in screen. Taraazu uses that sign-in only to save and read its backup in your Drive. Taraazu's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Permissions the app uses

• Camera: to scan barcodes and to take product photos, only when you choose to.
• Internet: only for Google Drive backup and restore.
• Fingerprint / screen lock: if you turn on App Lock, Taraazu asks your phone to check your fingerprint, face or screen lock. Taraazu never sees or stores them.

Your choices

• You can turn off Google Drive backup at any time in Settings. Backups already in your Drive stay there until you remove them. You can remove them from Google Drive (Settings → Manage apps → Taraazu → Delete hidden app data).
• Clear all data in Settings deletes everything Taraazu stored on the phone.
• Uninstalling Taraazu deletes the data on the phone.

Customer information

If you record your customers' details, you are responsible for collecting them fairly and using them only for your shop's business.

Children

Taraazu is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
